This quote best describes what I believe as a coach... a change inside your head is still an action. Great Coaches coach You-not the problem. For momentum in moving towards what you want.

Coaching gets blurred with consulting and therapy. All three are distinct. I won't get into a whole bunch of specifics however:

1. If you are looking for business, management or sales expertise that would be consulting.
2. Therapy is the practice of mental health counselling. If you are feeling down for long periods of time, numbing through alcohol/recreational drugs, isolating and withdrawing from people and things you love, thinking of harming yourself and/or others, this would fall under therapy. I can reach out to professionals in the field if it they would be better suited or compliment your coaching.
3. Coaching is maximizing your personal and professional potential in a thought-provoking creative process with the focus on the now.

I coach people who yearn to live as their best version of themselves no matter what life throws at them. People willing to adopt a learner mindset to figure out how to get to where they want to go and then have the audacity to see it through. My coaching is safe but not always comfortable. After all, safe is just another word for regret. What a boring world it would be if it weren't for musicians and other creatives who had the courage to turn the world on its ear. Is it your turn?

Here is the deal — if I don't show up authentically, how can I expect you to? I do the work to be able to write from my scratches and scars rather than my wounds. I have had plenty of personal and professional ones over my 50+ years. What I have come to appreciate, like good tequila, is that my ballads and rock songs make my Life Album one for the Ages. It may be warped and scratched and spent more time on the B side than one would desire, but I embrace Both Sides Now (Thanks Joni). I have come to treasure every verse of joy, excitement, success, hope, grief, loss, shame, betrayal, etc. I have felt like a rock star playing a solo in front of hundreds of thousands in one set only to find me and my bell bottoms brought to my knees in another. Over time I honed my signature sound and chorus: I. M. Possible. of a whatever I focus my brilliant mind on no matter the circumstances. Greatest Hits Vol. 2 has more grace, peace, radical forgiveness and self love. Kind of like the 70's and so it seems I have come full circle. Wherever you are in your album, please be good to you and to those who love you and want the very best for you; they matter more than your critics. Life is not a dress rehearsal.
